
Enter the contacts first name in section provided - "Add new Contact - First Name"
Click the Add button. A record with the first name and additional user defined descriptions appears.
Enter the contact's middle Initial, Last name and salutation (Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc.)
The addrby field will automatically
default with the contacts first name.
.Make changes as
necessary.
TIP: The addrby field is very
important for customized e-marketing campaigns.
Enter the contact's Title
The Active checkbox is selected by default. Only deactivate a customer if they are no longer to be associated with the customer
Deselecting the Active checkbox will render the contact inactive. The customer is not deleted and remains in the database until reactivated. If you need to reactivate a contact please see your administrator.

In the Contact Communication Section enter all appropriate contact numbers including business phone, business FAX and other user defined numbers.
Enter the contact's Email address.
Select the Send Text Only box if the contact may only receive regular text based mail. If the contact is able to receive "Rich" or "Hyper" text such as that found on a web page, do not select.
Select the Internet Access box if the contact maintains an internet account. If the contact maintains only an e-mail and/or intranet account do not select.
In the section OK to Recv select only those types of communication the contact wishes to receive.
If applicable, enter client's alternate or local address information in the section below.
Three customizable fields are available for additional information related to the contact.(Job Desc, Bus Type and Prgrm 3 in the example above). These are set by your administrator.
For each contact you have the option of automatically placing them in a previously created Marketing list. In the example below Sandra is currently listed in 5 marketing lists. You can add her to other lists or delete her from lists from this section

To add customer to a list:
Select the list from the drop down menu

To delete a customer from a list:
Select the list you wish to remove the customer from-in the example above "Open House" is selected

Marketing check lists are additional subjects that your customer might be interested in and are set up by your marketing or sales manager. These are primarily used for creating marketing lists for customers with certain interests such as training schedules or information on Tools etc. Select the information pertinent for your customer
